IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE – october 2020
Dear St Luke’s Catholic Faith Community members
We have a ticketing system to allow us to comply with the current COVID restrictions of 100 people per Mass. These can be accessed through our ticketing site (see details below).
We continue to have two Masses each weekend for you to attend:
- A Vigil Mass at 5.30 pm each Saturday
- Sunday morning 10 am Mass
Both Masses are at St Luke’s Catholic College, Marsden Park (enter via Frontier Avenue car park).
If you have difficulty using our ticketing system, you are free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are still offering Mass via Zoom each Sunday at 10am for those who are unable to physically attend Mass, which can be accessed by clicking on this link: https://zoom.us/j/93918900500
We will also be offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation twice a month – on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. However, this will now be AFTER our 5.30pm Mass, not before Mass.
If you attend Mass in person, please note that the Diocese of Parramatta has advised the following:
"On consideration of the most recent NSW Health advice, the Diocese of Parramatta highly recommends all worshippers at Masses in the Diocese to wear a mask to, during and from Mass and other services. We understand the inconvenience that masks may pose, but the health of our parishioners and the wider community is our highest concern. We sincerely thank you for understanding, and for playing your part in keeping our community safe."
Blessings to you and your family.
In this Advent season of hope, will you share the miracle of Christmas with families in need?

Welcome to St Luke's
Catholic Faith Community
St Luke's is Australia's newest Catholic Church community, located in Marsden Park, western Sydney, within the Diocese of Parramatta.
The community came into being with the appointment of Deacon Tony Hoban as Pastoral Director on January 1, 2018. Supported by his wife, Annette, and a start-up Advisory Group, planning has begun for the life of the new community. The intention is to develop a community of intentional disciples of Jesus Christ, working in collaboration with St Luke's College. Our gathering place for Mass and other events will be at St Luke's Catholic College, Frontier Avenue, Marsden Park. We are looking for people who desire to grow in faith within a supportive community to join us.
We acknowledge that the Darug people were the original custodians of the land on which we operate. We pay our respects to elders past and present, and acknowledge the Aboriginal people for their custodianship of this land.
