Thank you to the 170 people who gathered for the first event of St Luke’s Catholic Faith Community on March 11.

It was wonderful to see so many adults and children present – a real sign of the Holy Spirit at work in our community. This first gathering augers well for our ongoing life as a people of faith.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed to the day by their presence, to those who brought food, those who provided supervision of children, our musician and those who helped lead the discussion groups for adults.

Many great ideas emerged during the discussions groups and we will use these ideas as the starting point of developing a pastoral plan for our community.

We were also pleased to be able to take the excess food and drinks from the BBQ to Windsor to support the wonderful work of Hawkesbury Helping Hands, a not-for-profit organisation that helps feed, clothe and support homeless and disadvantaged community members of the Hawkesbury and surrounds.
